Archeology Digs: Puzzle of Pots
Ages 5+ Family Event / Nov. 16 / $10 / 10-11a.

Students will have the opportunity to touch and learn about artifacts during the artifact show & tell part of the presentation (focusing more on pottery & ceramics types). Students will have an opportunity to learn about cultural artistic styles, prehistoric & historic artifacts and more. They will then be given 15-20 minutes to decorate the terra cotta pot, we will then break them in a bag and they will have the remaining time do glue the pottery sherds back together just like an archaeological curator. The students can also try their hand at deciphering a symbol language that I have created that accompanies the activity.
